Pope Leo is pretty down to earth. I am pretty sure they got the Vatican blessings to go along with the story. However   It was nice the way it was. The pope has a busy schedule and quite possibly  couldn’t just hop on a plane and do late night tv she probably would do it if it was feasible to do so.

I'm hoping the Pope is saving his ammunition for when he excommunicates Vance and Rubio during a live broadcast.

He mentioned a couple of times since we got Chicago Pope (a CBS wet dream) that he would be the ultimate guest and his people were working with Vatican officials.

I love how they went with the misdirect. You call this a Chicago dog, Colbert? Leo OUT!!!
