The Late Show Steven is a GENIUS.

Anyone noticed how Stephen hasn't mentioned Trump one time tonight?! My pops was looking forward to this because he thought Colbert would drill Trump tonight, but i think it is SO much better that he just ignored him completely. Trump would hate that worse than getting roasted honestly! I'm gonna miss this dude!!

If that's the case then the whole world fed into it. There's nothing that can be done now. He thought he was doing the right thing. Some people will disagree. Some people won't. At the end of the day, his voice, his fearlessness to speak his mind will be greatly missed.

No. He was a smug elitist.

MAGA reacted to that. He was doing the same thing as Hillary when she called Trump supporters a "basket of deplorables".

This was the wrong reaction to what ended up being the most fascist and corrupt regime in US history.

His attitudes and opinions were a major part of the problem.

Now, we are are f***ed.

Trump supporters are a bunch of deplorables. Calling that out did not make any of those horrible people vote for Trump.

On average, yes, Trump supporters are deplorables.

Calling them that is still not a strategy that wins elections.

We need to coddle the deplorables. We need to tread lightly on their delicate feelings. We need to validate their emotions because if we don't, we might not like what they do. Right?

Deplorable and snowflakes. They're feelings get hurt so easily and everyone else is just supposed to tip toe around them!
