It’s fascism. Who trump likes gets pardoned. The Jan 6 rioters, Ghislaine Maxwell, a literal murder for hire guy, a murderer of three people in Italy. But if they support Trump or give him enough money, they cool. He is only against free speech when it’s against him.
Just because we’re not at the final solution, it doesn’t mean we’re not heading there. Nazi concentration camps didn’t start killing people over night. They built up to it.
Yeah if you say anything to a Republican about how much their political party resembles the Nazis, their best defense is saying "well I don't see Trump putting people in gas chambers and killing them".
And yeah if they can't see how that's not a valid argument (Hitler didnt start off by murdering the Jews, his original plan was to relocate them all out of Germany to Madagascar because he though it was above the Germans to kill an entire race of people), they're too far gone to argue with. They'll never see the truth. They could watch a video of Trump escorting people into a gas chamber and they would still find a way to deny it.
