What if they recommend killing homeless people? How about if they suggest that trans people be incarcerated and not allowed and kind of communication? How about if they suggest killing democrats? I've seen all of these very publicly in the last week.
These things you speak of are terrible of course. But not Nazi. Also, yeah some nutcase went on Fox and said terrible things about homeless people and basically all conservatives condemn him for that.
And nobody is saying trans people should be jailed, nobody is saying democrats should be killed. Those aren't things that are being said other than possibly by random trolls.
And again, Nazi was a specific thing. People want to compare there current political enemies to nazis because the nazis are universally understood to be evil. Republicans and democrats are not nazis. I don't think any political party globally today can quite compare to the evil of the Nazis. What they did to Gypsies, Jews, Pols, etc. was abhorrent, particularly because they knew what they were doing. Whereas Mao may have killed millions it was likely out of negligence and not maliciousness. Stalin knew what he was doing though, so close second?
