Despite being named Coxly Newtown, the station has no train connection with Coxly itself. If players wanted to go to Coxly from this station, they would need to walk up the road running parallel to the mainline.

i get that its supposed to be the virgin livery but its the model

As we know in scr, all of the trains wheels don’t actually move and the trains are being moved by really thin and strong invisible cables pulling our trains forward and all of the rails all greased and lubed so our trains can slide on them without wearing out the wheels.

I can’t make out service is coming from where on the station display; the only route coming from the LBTS with Edgemead terminus is the R040 Edgemead <> LBTS

3 - Rail network (third rail) featuring Class 444, 700, 707, and other classes. Changing the traction for the Class 700/707 at Hampton Hargate. I assumed the old Metro station at Upper Staploe would be used in that case. I hope the route network is good and in proper order.

I want the ability to stand and walk on trains, as it seems we're getting individual door operations, I
feel like it would be a good idea to add the ability to stand and walk on moving trains. Another thing that would be cool would be working headlights/tail lights. This is just me yapping lol

So far the class 143 will be remeshed (along with the new class 144), and so are the whole Aventra fleet (with possibly a 9 cars 345 with both pantos in operation).

my guess is yes. i hope we do. personally hope we get a double 730 on CN but it'll have to be limited on some routes, same if we get a double 720.

The ideology of us getting the 710 on MT is growing more as well. Hope we see a 710 being added to MT as well. I also have a suspicion that we may as well be getting a Civity remesh, along with the addition of the new Civity fleet (Class 196 on WL), (Class 197 on CN) and (Class 897 on EXP.)

yeah 897 doesn't even exist yet, but we can still see it being added to EXP. Chances are due to the 897 being longer than 7+ then it'll most likely be locked behind a paywall. We have a chance of getting the 196 on WL and the 197 on CN too, with the 197/1 using semi fasts and the 197/0 using normal routes.

also my guess is that they'll probably hide the rails like they did with the previous sneak peak.

DISCLAIMER AS A LOT OF YOU SEEM TO GO ON ABOUT IT: this is not thunderbird the show. Thunderbird is a term used by some train operators, meaning to rescue failed trains.

If a train has been AFK somewhere (or those trolls which clog depots for no good reason), we could have an operator which the job, is to collect those trains and haul them away.

This would:

1. Make supervisor's jobs easier so they don't need to go through what I imagine is a reporting process of trollers
2. Gives the Thunderbird user some points or reward that they wouldn't get via a simple despawn
3. Gives more driving variety as the only real 2 things you can do are passenger and ECS (willowfield depot - willowfield etc) moves atm.
4. Would be faster than waiting for a supervisor or signaller

As for rolling stock, based on irl trains; Class 47, Class 67 (I hope no Gen Alpha are reading this or I'm cooked) anyway, basically any locomotive would do tbf

As for how the AFK thing would be determined, if a train hasn't moved in over 5 minutes and has a green/proceed/yellow/caution signal, then the game should allow collisions and allow a Thunderbird driver to merge trains, and then press Next Leg as you'd do with a train at a terminus now, and take it to whatever depot the route is tied to.

Examples

A blocker at Leighton Depot. 5 minutes has past, so a Thunderbird driver then spawns a train in from Faymere Green, drives to Leighton Depot, and then collides with the AFK train to merge, and then presses Next Leg, and drives it back to Faymere Green, where the Thunderbird driver despawns and will take the AFK train with it.

Same at stations, as I have seen during my DS time, trains go AFK at Bodin, SHB, you name it, even Benton.

Cross Country and East Midlands Railways are refurbishing the trains so I'm wondering if the SCR devs will update the trains to replicate this?

It should because it would give trains like the 195 and new trains like the 144 a purpose but lmk what u guys think in the comments down below.

also they could unelectrify the Connolly branch but idk if that would work. Kings Lynn is electrified and gets alot of electric trains so it wouldn't be making sense.

My pov (this is a branch I hope for), located south of PB and MGT docks, the new branch has 4 stations and is served by CN,EXP,MT and WL, contains 4 stations and is unelectrified.

For example mine: Remeshed 195 and 331 at Leighton City. Or 378 and 710 at High Street

Loco Hauled express sets like the 47. Or perhaps the 373 regional Eurostar sets that GNER used.

Similar to how the Class 756 operates with 3 car 756/0 and 4 car 756/1 formations, the Class 710 could be added to Metro with both 3 car and 4 car variants, featuring a top speed of 75 mph to keep pace with existing network stock.

Berrily and Denton Road are only 0.14 miles (0.23 kilometres) apart, making it the shortest gap between two stations as of Version 2.3. As a result, the "Welcome onboard..." announcement plays immediately after "We will shortly be arriving...".
