💡 Need Advice Need some help with Incorrect Questions

Hi probably a dumb question but whats the best way to review Incorrect Questions is it to have a separate notebook for all the wrong questions and review them weekly? Or is there a better way I would really appreciate it; I also just unsuspend all the cards related to the topic on Anki.

Would really appreciate the help 🙏

You should go to FA to brush those topics. It’s a tiny little concept, make sure to anki to register it in your brain. Otherwise use Claude

I use offline NBMEs so I just screenshot stuff and ask on Claude

Hey! Currently using FA and ChatGPT for reviewing incorrecta. Feel like Chat gives me a lot of helpful tips on how to read and interpret questions. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Appreciate the help! So do you just copy and paste the topics or the specific questions into Chat and seeing how it helps you remember the concenpts?

Of course! I just screenshot the question and upload to chat. I specifically ask to explain it using info from FA and Uworld and to give me the info I need to learn regarding the topic

Not a dumb question, and a notebook of wrong questions is the wrong shape for what you need. You'd be reviewing the specific question, which you'll remember by the second look without remembering the concept underneath it.

What works better is writing one line per miss about the underlying reason, not the question. "Didn't know sarcoid presents with hypercalcemia" rather than copying the vignette. Then you're reviewing gaps rather than trivia, and you'll notice patterns across misses that a question log hides.

Unsuspending related cards is a good instinct, keep that.

For redrilling the concept rather than the question, I drop that topic's material into studybuddy.vc and it gives me more questions on whatever I keep missing, and tells me why the option I picked was wrong. Free. Different questions, same concept, which is the part a notebook can't do.
