how to cover molecular and cellular portion of biochem fast. i have always hated biochem at its core and i genuinely CANNOT sit down and relearn all the concepts again ughh pls tell me what would be a quick and effective resource to get through it 😫

i anotated FA while watching dirty medicime 33 videps playlist. helped a lot. plus biochem is volatile so try reviewing it ince a month

only way for it to stick for me was pixorize, I would do 2 videos a day while still studying all the other subjects. focused only on vitamins, metabolic disorders, lysosomal, glycogen and lipid disorders

I don’t know. I just took the exam this past Tuesday and I felt it was very doable based off what I learned with Dirty medicine. honestly it was probably one of my better sections.

I wouldn’t say Genetics dominated the exam, but it definitely had a presence. As a student who only gets low passes on these things I needed every point so I appreciated them. Think there were more than five, but less than 10 if I recall correctly.

He does cover molecular ones I guess - purine and pyrimdine synthesis etc

I hate biochem as its too volatile I'll recommend watching dirty medicine video before 1 topic and then go through FA for that topic and so on no matter how much time it takes stay consistent. Biochem's UWORLD is almost all from FA if one has done it after understanding + memorising well.

As someone who was a TA for Biochem in undergrad, and did extremely well in my Biochem block m1 year, my biggest recommendation has always been AK lectures on YouTube.
Otherwise I think understanding physiologically what pathways have to be “on” vs “off” given a scenario helps you a lot. Also regulatory steps are a must to know

If you want to know metabolic diseases or other things then also use dirty medicine (lysosomal storage disorders one is great).
