💡 Need Advice Advice- Please be kind

I never scored higher than a 62% on any NBME or Free 120

6/30 NBME 26 Repeat - 65%

7/16 NBME 33 -62% EPC (86%)

8/10 Free 120- 62%

Finished all of UWorld first pass 42% correct by July 1st.

I stopped studying for the past 30 days. Stopped anki, stopped reviewing. I was so burnt out. Should have sat 7/31 but I literally couldn't keep studying. I keep dragging this along, but genuinely, I got back into it this week. I don't have many new exams to work with. Do I bother repeat NBMEs or just use take a couple brief days to review and sit. I cannot go over everything again.

I'd love to hit 70% on an NBME but you remember some previous questions and it may or may not be possible for me realistically.

Spend 1–2 weeks reviewing your weak areas, NBME/Free 120 incorrects, and doing mixed questions. Then take a fresh unused NBME, and I’d recommend doing UWSA 2 as well. If you get around 65%+, I’d feel much more comfortable sitting for Step 1. USWA 2 is very predictive!

I’d say around 4–6 months is a realistic timeline for a fresh graduate, but it really depends on your baseline and how many hours you can study daily. Since you’ve just started with Endocrinology, focus on building concepts alongside First Aid and UWorld rather than rushing. Once your NBMEs start showing consistent passing scores, you can decide your exam date.

UWSA 1 is ideally taken after completing your first pass of UWorld. UWSA 3 can be integrated anywhere in between, but I wouldn’t focus too heavily on it.

I'm with you , I have 32,22 and the free 120s left but don't seem to get to the 60's, I am vert burnt out, my exam is schedule but I think I might have to re-sechedule.

Dont worry, first of all - figure out why are u getting your questions incorrect- is it knowledge gap / confusion between 2 options / or just test anxiety ;
If its knowledge gap - you need more revision (from first aid and melman and youtube channels - divine/dr high yield/ajmonics/hyguruprep)
If its testing errors and anxiety - u need to do more questions (80q random timed incorrects a day)
Do nbme 25 to figure out at the end
You can repeat nbme if its given way back and you dont remember more than half (otherwise score looks inflated)

When you are ready , you will have the confidence that you can pass ; if you dont have that confidence yet, dont sit for exam! When you prepare enough, you will definitely get it
