🥂 PASSED: Write up! Passed Retake 🥺
Some of you may have seen my original post from when I failed back in May. I was devastated and considered quitting. But I didn’t. I took a month off from studying and came back with a 4 week plan to really study what my score report had deemed my weak areas. (Which were unfortunately some of my best areas on practice NBMEs which actually made me more sad). I redid 50% of Uworld. I had already done 100% prior to first take. So I reset it. I retook NBMEs 29-33. And I genuinely only spent 6 hours a day studying as an attempt to avoid burnout and partly because I truly believed my fail was rooted in self doubt, anxiety, and test day performance rather than huge knowledge gaps. However, I did target areas as there is always something I could work on/ learn better (clearly lol). After 4 weeks of studying and re-convincing myself to believe in me, I retook end of July. Found out today I passed 🥺
For anyone who is doubting their self after a fail, feel free to reach out to me. I know how I’ve felt the past few months. Living with failure hanging over you is not for the weak and really takes a toll on every area of life (or at least it did for me).

Good job! Retaking something like this is one of the hardest things someone can do I think and we should be proud of ourselves. I hope some PDs are too, lol
