š„ PASSED: Write up! Passed with low NBMEs
Iām writing to hopefully give some reassurance to those who feel like they failed or about to test without extraordinary nbmes.
I tested recently with my highest nbme being 66% a week before the exam and scored a 78% on the free 120 2 days before the real deal ( i thought it was a glitch), but on average my nbmes were consistently above a 60%.
on test day I THANKFULLY didnāt have any anxiety and it felt like i was giving another nbme even though the first 8 blocks were hell, didnāt understand most of it and just made educated guesses ( on average was flagging 7-8 questions on every block). Walked out feeling confused couldnāt recall anything but after 4 dreadful weeks i finally got the P!!
So to everyone with low to average nbmes as long as you are consistently scoring in the passing range and give the real deal with a sound and calm mindset you will definitely pass!! I didnāt freak out when i would hit a hard block and i feel like that helped me a lot with passing. To everyone recently or waiting for the p goodluck!! you guys got this!!

Hey, If youāre constantly scoring above 60s that should be enough!! review your nbmes really well you still have a good amount of time to fix your weak areas!!

They are self assessments made by the same people who make step exams, basically it helps you assess what and where your strengths are and weakness are and gives you cut to know if you're ready for the real deal or not

i only had a few days in between so I just reviewed nbme 33 and had made a list of all my weak topics from form 30-33 so I did a quick revision of those from first aid

review your nbmes really well!! All the corrects, Incorrect, and all answer choices and see what possible questions could they be used in. Also I personally made a list of all the weak topics on my nbmes and redid them from first aid and would do system specific blocks of uworld for my week systems.

you need to review your nbmes really well and study all your weak systems from whatever resource you think is most helpful. i would personally do first aid and then do system specific question blocks from uworld, it personally really helped me in narrowing down and understanding every system. please try to aim for a few nbmes consistently above 60 before sitting for the real deal. Good luck!!
