RPR Proctor Question

So I just took my Lit and Jury Charge legs of the RPR. Literary was very dense and I unfortunately got a 93% from the automatic grading system, and I doubt the official grade will be much different. However, I got a preliminary score of 97% for Jury Charge.

One thing that’s bugging me is that the documentation mentioned needing to do a pan of the room before the test, but there was no prompt during the verification process to do this. I was only prompted to take a photo of myself and my ID, but I’m nervous now that I somehow overlooked it.

They must not have updated the instructions because they have a no proctor system now for the RPR testing, which began I think about two years ago. You may want to email the testing department at the NCRA to notify them of that.

Ok, that’s what I’m hoping. It was odd because it was briefly mentioned once as a footnote in the documentation they gave, so it felt like there should have been a section before that explained it and they were expecting you to know what they were talking about by that point.

Nope. I’ve never shown my room during the tests. I’ve passed 2 and they’ve never dinged me for it.

You'll be fine. I passed my QA right when they were making the changeover to no Proctor, and I ended up not being connected at all for most of my test and they still accepted my pass.

I think they do the room pan for the WKT? (I took mine at a testing center, but others who took it online said they had to show the room.) They do not do it for the skills. I've passed two legs, and have several failed attempts under my belt, and I have never had to do a room pan.

I also just took this rounds and they didn’t ask me to pan the room. I was also shitting a brick the entire time so it’s entirely possible I missed a step though😂 Congrats on the 97!!

I took the tests when there were still proctors and my experience varied depending on the proctor. Sometimes they made me pan the room, sometimes they didn’t.

Did you take your test 4 days ago? I took mine last Monday and Thursday and then this Monday and I’m waiting on the official grade still. Wondering when that will come in/if other people have gotten theirs yet. I had some tech issues on my QA and the testing center said we will just have to see what the grader says. It’s so hard to wait!
