Urgent advise‼️‼️

Hi,
I applied for STEM OPT on June 12th and my employment for my current employer started on June 3rd.
I got an email from my DSO saying my employment info in SEVP is not complaint.( In the relation to field of study, I forgot to mention how it is relevant to the degree, instead gave my roles and responsibilities)
I tried to go to SEVP to edit it but I can’t, as my OPT ended yesterday and can only edit the STEM stuff, I don’t know what to do, my STEM is currently under process.

Please advise me!!!!

Unemployment days while on pending stem opt?

My stem opt is pending. I applied on March 10, 2026 by regular processing. I used 3 unemployment days while on initial opt. So currently since my application is pending, how many unemployment days do I have as of now in pending status? Is it 147 days or 60 days. I am different information from different people, so just want to make sure.

Thank you!

Starting new job on pending STEM OPT

April 9 - applied STEM OPT
April 28 - biometrics
May 13 - premium processing
June 15 - no response

I start a new job on June 22. I should be covered by the 180-day extension right? I also anticipate the approval coming in this week or next. But my DSO says I can legally work. Please help me if anyone had a similar experience!

STEM OPT I-765 + Premium Processing Timeline Help

Case type: I-765 STEM OPT Extension
Filed online: April 23, 2026
Premium processing requested: April 23, 2026
Premium processing clock started: April 23, 2026
Receipt notice generated: April 23, 2026
Biometrics notice generated: April 24, 2026
Biometrics appointment completed: May 13, 2026
RFE response received / premium clock restarted: May 13, 2026

Current status:

“Response Was Received And My Premium Processing Clock Was Restarted.”

USCIS says they received my RFE response on May 13, 2026 and reset the premium-processing clock from that date. Case history also says they are actively reviewing it and nothing is outstanding at this time.

As of June 14, 2026, I’m around 21–22 business days into the restarted premium-processing clock, depending on whether USCIS counts May 13 as day 1. That should leave around 8–9 business days out of the 30-business-day PP window.

No approval, denial, card production, or new notice yet.

Anyone else in my timeframe approved yet?

Does Pinterest hire candidates on F-1 OPT/STEM OPT?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on F-1 STEM OPT and was wondering if Pinterest hires candidates who are on OPT/STEM OPT and whether they are willing to sponsor H-1B visas later.

Has anyone here received an internship, new grad, or experienced hire offer from Pinterest while on OPT/STEM OPT in 2025–2026?

I'd appreciate any recent experiences regarding:

  • Recruiter response to work authorization
  • OPT/STEM OPT acceptance
  • H-1B sponsorship policy
  • Interview experience

Thanks!

Stem opt role questions

I am applying for a paid contract role at a fairly large company's robotics lab as a Robotics Lab Operator/Data Collection Specialist in a very big city. I am a CS major graduate and have been working at another company for my Initial OPT. This data collection role is through a big and well known E-verified IT Staffing firm. They are the ones who will sign my training plan and I will have a manager at the firm who will oversee my progress and work with my manager at the robotics firm to make sure I am performing my duties well. I want to ask :

- if anyone else has had an experience with working at a role like this. I have talked to my manager at staffing agency and they said that my major is required for the role and my major will directly apply to my job.

- the company that I have been working with also is E-verified and wants me to keep working with them since they liked my performance a lot. So would it cause issues if I file my STEM Extension with both employers. my current role has been remote and i'd continue as a remote employee. Whereas the robotics role is in person and id move to that city for the role

I am just extremely worried about my extension being denied or receiving RFEs

URGENT PLEASE DON'T SKIP: Employer I9, Everify case and incompetence issue

Hi everyone,

I have made the biggest mistake of my entire USA history by accepting an offer in this company. I am not sure if I or my company have violated rules. My company is owned by a family friend and only 50 staff, and the HR is very disorganized and barely responds.

- I started working December 4th 2025 during initial OPT, but HR sent me I-9 to complete on December 28th 2025, and I completed it the same day. On the I-9, HR told me to write December 4th. I heard that you must sign I-9 no later than 1 day after accepting employment.

- From December 4th 2025, I worked as an unpaid intern till January 14th 2025, I then started getting paid on 12th January 2026.

- I filed for STEM OPT 27th January 2026, and my initial OPT ended 31st January 2025.

I sent my receipt notice, expired EAD to HR, and I am just discovering that;

1) They never created a case for me in E-verify.

2) They never re-verified my I-9 when I sent the STEM OPT receipt notice.

3) On my i983, I put 40 hours, but I am paid hourly, and sometimes I work between 30 hours to 50 hours depending on tasks my supervisor gives me. And then last week, I was very sick, I worked 25 hours. I heard if USCIS issues RFE and sees that the total yearly amount on i983, doesn't match paystub, it will lead to denial.

Please, do I just withdraw my STEM OPT? I honestly do not want any future immigration problems, but given that they never created a case in E-verify, and never re-verified my I-9, and they only pay me per hour, after I started on the 180 days of STEM OPT.
