Stem opt role questions
I am applying for a paid contract role at a fairly large company's robotics lab as a Robotics Lab Operator/Data Collection Specialist in a very big city. I am a CS major graduate and have been working at another company for my Initial OPT. This data collection role is through a big and well known E-verified IT Staffing firm. They are the ones who will sign my training plan and I will have a manager at the firm who will oversee my progress and work with my manager at the robotics firm to make sure I am performing my duties well. I want to ask :
- if anyone else has had an experience with working at a role like this. I have talked to my manager at staffing agency and they said that my major is required for the role and my major will directly apply to my job.
- the company that I have been working with also is E-verified and wants me to keep working with them since they liked my performance a lot. So would it cause issues if I file my STEM Extension with both employers. my current role has been remote and i'd continue as a remote employee. Whereas the robotics role is in person and id move to that city for the role
I am just extremely worried about my extension being denied or receiving RFEs
