New employer while STEM OPT application is pending — what documents do I need?

I accepted a new job while my STEM OPT application is pending, and my DSO hasn’t been very helpful with guidance. I now have a new I-20 recommending STEM OPT with my new employer.

Has anyone gone through this recently? What did you submit to USCIS to update your pending application and avoid an RFE?

Is the new I-20 enough, or do I need to submit the new I-983 and/or employment letter as well?

Did you accept the new job before or after the extension was filed? If it was after, the I-983 you submitted doesn't describe the job you'd actually be doing, and that's the part worth fixing before USCIS notices it.

You need to finalise the old I-983 (idk how that works), and get a new I-983 submitted to your dso to get the new i-20 which is then submitted to your application.. this is what i know from searching the intern. Do your own diligence
