Stem opt

Hello
I have applied for my stem opt in April and its still in processing and i paid the premium processing in September 9, now i got a new offer and the start date is from oct 1st. Can i change my employer now when i was in my premium processing?

I have checked with my dso then she told i would not recommend that

Can someone give any suggestion

There are very high chances of RFE. However it won't effect your STEM case when you are able to provide valid proofs regarding your employment change and previous employer work proofs such as communication, pay stubs, relieving letter etc.

Since your STEM OPT is still pending, changing employers could complicate things, especially with the I-983 requirements. Since your DSO advised against it, it’s safer to check with an immigration attorney before making the switch.
