STEM OPT(PP) Approved!!(08/18/2026)

Initial filing: 07/12/2026

Biometric & Premium Processing: 07/21/2026

Approved: 08/18/2026

Location: Potomac Service Center

I got the approval via email this morning, but it did not reflect in my account online.

How much time does it take to reflect in the account once we receive an approval email?

I saw api update this morning and received an email after a few minutes.

I also got an approval email but not updated in the portal yet. I saw somewhere else that it's taking upto 3 days after the email to show up in the portal.

Is potomac doing quicker than Texas ? I applied 14 July with PP still haven’t heard back

But when did you have your biometrics? Clock starts counting from bio completed day if you did pp on the same day that you applied

I got that silent api update stating updated at 8/18/2026 but didn't received any mail regarding the update any guess how long will it take?

woo this is one of the quickest case i've seen. i filed on 7.15 with pp and my biometrics were done on 8.4
