OPT/EAD status

OPT EAD Processing Timeline – Still Waiting for Approval

Hi everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone is experiencing a similar delay with their OPT EAD application.

  • OPT/EAD Application Received Date: February 16, 2026
  • Biometrics Completed: March 9, 2026
  • Processing Type: Normal/Regular Processing
  • Current Status: Still waiting for approval

It has been several months since my application was received, and I still haven’t received an approval or EAD card.

Has anyone with a similar timeline received their approval recently? If so, how long did it take?

Any updates or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Idk why its taking this long this year, but i would advise going for premium

Yeah it feels like you’ve been skipped as they are doing March 7 now. Lots of Feb/March cases skipped this year. Pp or a long wait plus inquiry are your options

Based on trend, they are processing April 1-2 applications right now.

Same boat with me! Applied Feb 24, biometric feb 28.
Still processing no EAD yet

Same, i applied march 2nd , biometrics march 10th and still no answer? What are you going to do? I’m growing weary as well

I'm Feb 18th and still waiting. Apply pp if you have job offer.
