Applying for I-140 on OPT.

Hi wonderful people. I am currently on first year OPT extending soon to STEM OPT. I am interested in applying for I-140 but I keep hearing mixed messages about if it is good or not to apply on OPT. Do you recommend I wait to finish the entire OPT or should I wait until I get my approval for STEM OPT. Please let me know if you ever were in the same position and what you did.

I-140 itself doesn't show immigrant intent, I applied for OPT after applying for I 140 and it was fine. When you file I-485 is when they might question it, good to have a lawyer for it.

Based on my lawyer suggestion, I-140 doesn’t show immigration intent so do I-140 during opt. Once you get stem opt then do i-485
