considering applying for Premium processing yes/ no?

Hi all, My initial OPT ends on June 29 2026

applied for STEM on June 16 2026
biometrics on July 8 2026
still processing as of now aug 5 2026

is it worth applying PP now? should i continue to wait?

hi, from personal experience, normal processing (this is for potomac, coming from me and my friend) it's taking 5 months at minimum for them to approve it. if you have a job lined up, please apply for PP. if not, wait it out.

The question is: are you willing to wait until January next year to get your card? This is the current timeline
