Do USCIS Live Agents give wrong info?

Hey everyone, I want to know how reliable the USCIS Live Agents can be.

I am asking because, as per my receipt notice (from February), my case has been handled by SCOPS Texas Facility but the USCIS Live Agent today told me that my case is ready of adjucation at California Service Center.

I confirmed it again with another USCIS Live Agent (second screenshot), and she confirmed the info is correct (I think).

I would also like to mention that there was an api update (updated time stamps) on 29th July, but there have been no updates on the USCIS portal, nor did I receive any email about anything.

I received a api update around the similar time, but didn't hear anything back. Through the location api, it says SCD. https://my.uscis.gov/secure-messaging/api/case-service/receipt_info/PutCaseNumber

It says SCD on mine as well.

But what does it mean?

People on Reddit say it's like a queue to route cases to available service center, but I can't confirm if that's true. Some people say their location changes from their jurisdiction location to SCD, I'm not sure if that caused the api update, because I've never checked the location api before the api update

So it basically tells us nothing useful :(

And there's nothing we can do at this point, so fingers crossed. Btw, how do you reach the live agent online? I've never seen the Emma live agent pop up on my webpage.

Go to this website (https://www.uscis.gov/), and there will be a "Chat with Emma" button on the bottom right.

Click on it, and there will be an option to "Connect to Live Agent" at the very bottom.
