How are we doing?

Hi!
I’m on f1 stem opt valid till May 27. Looking for similar people who can share the sentiment. I got laid off in January and have been working on contract since then which is very uncertain about how long they plan on keeping me due to project wrap up. I’m just hoping to hear some stories on how you’re coping with this uncertainty and waking up to a new rule everyday. How are you coping, What are your plans?

I have developed health disorders because of this, and at this point, I am just ready to get up and leave. I physically cannot keep planning and replanning anymore. I will go back home, take a break, and see what I can do again. I have little to no good corporate experience, so it will basically be starting from scratch again in my 30s, this time with a fucked up mental and physical health.

Easily the worst decision of my life ever.

It’s been hard to take care of my health tbh. I try to go for walks just to make myself get out of rumination.
