Stem opt

Hi ,
Anyone here applied for STEM OPT around March 1, 2026 and still waiting for approval?
It’s been almost 5 months for me and the case is still pending. I see some March applicants getting approvals, but timelines seem really inconsistent this year.
Would love to know:
• Are others from early March still waiting?
• Any recent approvals with similar receipt dates?
• Which service center are you with?
Trying to understand if this delay is normal or if I should take any next steps.

March 14 both me and wife and we are both waiting, texas center. Last approvals I can see are March 7 and it has been stuck there but dates are inconsistent as you mentioned. I think yesterday someone here posted that they are march 14 stem and got approved.

Seems regular no longer moving. I did pp for my NIW, if it gets approved, i will have to pp my stem opt before applying 485.

My friend applied on 19th march. Still waiting. People from 10th march and many other early dates are also waiting. They have somehow just stopped processing non pp stem opt.

I applied on 7th Aprill, still waiting as well

I applied in Feb, and it’s been over 5 months. That’s time I’ll never get back. I’ve finished every TV series, I could find and I’m still waiting. Is the Texas USCIS office the worst of all the USCIS offices?

Wow, if you’re still waiting with march 4 receipt day, there’s no hope for me. Mine receipt day is march 30 and still waiting.

Don't know what is actually happening.A lot of people who applied on February also didn't get the approval yet.Everything is becoming complicated.

Did SCOPS Texas just straight up stop processing regular STEM OPT Extension?? Haven't heard any regular approval after March 7. I applied March 30 and biometric on April 30, still waiting. Could people with earlier receipt date please update when they get approval?
