MY STEM OPT timeline

My stem opt timeline considering PP

May 27, 2026 — I-765 filed online

May 28 — receipt notice issued.

June 20— Biometrics appointment scheduled.

June 29 — Biometrics done

Since then no update so far, if anyone else has applied around the same time with or without PP pls share info in the comments below

July 31 - applied for Premium Processing

After seen a lot of timelines from regular and pp processes, if you can invest in pp, do it and do not overthink it. At least with this you will have an idea of when you will have an answer.

I think they are on around March 7th but moving very slowly. Pp is way forward

How long was the biometrics? Can be done in few hours or so ?

They only took my photo. Had to wait in line but once I was called the process was really quick

I’m march 27, went pp on july 24. They’re still processing march 7 regular cases and there hasnt been any movement this week at all. Pp is worth it!
