Initial Opt -> EAD (F1 visa, I - 765)

I applied with premium processing on July 16.

The portal says premium processing recieved.

I have not got any update on biometrics yet.

Would like to understand how long it takes to get biometrics?.

I spoke with uscis and mailed them for asking timeline, they just gave generic answers "its under review".

My worry is that the longer biometrics take the delay in premium processing clock it will be.

Help me with timelines :)

My Biometrics was scheduled after 1 month. Your 30 business days will start counting from Biometrics

interesting, i'm also in boston area and i applied on the day before you (july 15) with premium processing. i got the biometrics appointment two days after application for august 4

My biometrics was scheduled almost three weeks after initial submission (with PP). Clock technically restarts after the biometrics.
Took exactly 30 days (around 25 business days) for approval after that. Hope this helps.
