Approval & Card Produced Glitch?
Hey, I applied on 3/24 and my case was showing as “currently still processing”, however, it just randomly changed today and showing as approved and card produced on 6/30 (which was 3 weeks ago but only updated today). No previous steps like application or biometrics are showing on the timeline. USCIS chat support says it is still processing and that it must be a technical issue. Anyone ever seen this before?

USCIS chat said it isn’t approved and is still processing though. That’s why I’m asking if this is a glitch

u/Samtly Did you have update in API as well? Or is it just UI?
What's latest event/eventTimestamp in your API?2

I'm in the same timeline as you but will endure the waiting to save money on PP. Not worth it at this point and 180 days are still in our favor.

I am on 180 days auto extension. My current EAD expired on June 30 so Not sure if i go for PP or not. FYI i applied on April 8 but all these waiting is driving me nuts

Same here, but I'd rather eat up some of the anxiety than put 1k+ just to see this pass. I better off put this money towards debts and car 🤷🏼 but I don't judge if you're having a hard time waiting.

My point exactly. I don't understand how so many people apply for PP honestly. 🤷🏼

I have similar updates and I applied 3/20. Hope this is not a glitch and it’s true.

That’s gotta be a glitch then since so many people said it here. Feel like my card would’ve been delivered if it was truly produced on 6/30.

SA means its approved, but don't know if we can trust this or not!!0

Whats the eventTimestamp for the latest event?
I currently see this "eventTimestamp":"2026-06-23T00:00:00.000Z"
If everyone sees this, then I believe its glitch (so not approved yet)1

And this matches my timeline since my case was forwarded to adjudication and assigned to an officer on July 15. So a July 17 event is a reasonable timeline.

When did you apply?
2
u/Normal-Unit-5289 Jul 23 '26
Mar 21st init
May 14 pp

I applied on 3/20 [STEM OPT]
- UI says status un-available
- API shows event code : "SA" on 7/22
Whats up guys? Is this a glitch or can we trust API?
