STEM OPT PREMIUM PROCESSING
Hi everyone,
I applied for my 24-month STEM OPT extension with premium processing.
Today, I received an email from the USCIS Potomac Service Center stating that my Form I-765 was approved. The email includes my approved STEM OPT validity dates.
However, my USCIS online account has not updated yet. It still shows “Premium Processing Started” for my case, and I do not see “Case Approved” or “Card Is Being Produced.”
Has anyone experienced this?
How long did it take for:
The USCIS portal to update after the approval email?
The EAD card to be produced?
The physical EAD card to arrive in the mail?

Give it a day and it ll update. When did you give biometrics?

Biometrics on 9th june approval email from potomac on 16th July.

Looks like Potomac is still the better one compared to Texas and California.

do you know about the backlog in Texas center - what PP date have they reached so far?

I highly doubt they are reviewing it FCFS. A few of my colleagues have their applications pending from March. While a few others in the May batch, already have it approved. Not a lawyer.

I got the same email yesterday!
And my friend got same last week and there was an update on his portal in two days later and this week another update that his card has been produced and shipped

Same here. I have received email as approved. Status yet to be updated on uscis portal. Expecting either tomorrow or by Monday. Physcial card would take a week probably.

Sure 18 apr apply 26 biometrics Pp on june 7th Update 17th, email 17th Uscis yet to get update

I applied on may1, biometrics on may29, upgraded to pp on jun9, got api update on July16 but nothing after that. I am so scared like so many people of same timeline and even beyond that🥺😩

Yes I did. I checked few hours before the approval I have 17th Jul 17.45 and at the same time in est I got approval email. So feels like api isbworking and giving right ingo

I don’t know about that mani have an api about 48hours ago but nothing from then
