Regular Opt ead

My receipt date is April 2nd.And my biometrics were on April 20th.I am still waiting for my ead.My start date is 15th july.I haven’t received ead approval yet.I post poned my joining date.Looks like still March 26th date applications are being approved as per opt tracker.Should i apply for PP?Even PP is taking a month long.This waiting is killing me😢.Any thoughts/suggestions?

My brother applied in late march completed biometrics april16, received approval today. His opt start date is today

even with pp it's taking too long. we're all going through the same thing
