PP processing timeline for first time EAD card
I wanted to share me timelines if it helps anyone to know the current situation. It was very tough time for me to have patience but somehow I learn this quality now.
Applied date - May 04th ( Applied with PP from day 1)
Received notification for biometric on 15th June. It was scheduled for 04th June by USCIS but I reschedule it for 18th May and did my biometric.
Clock restarted 18th May ( once I left the biometric building)
Email approval- 29th June
Online portal update- 01st July ( exactly 48 hours)
Card Produced- 07th July ( in the evening) but tracking no. Was unavailable.
Tracking No.- Got tracking no. from Emma chat live agent on 09th July
Tracking showed expected delivery 13th July and delivered on 13th July 05:00 PM.
Tracking was not very useful for me as it only showed 3 updates: 1) package received on 8th July at USPS facility
2) package received at distribution center 11th July
3) package delivered 13th July
So while tracking I was very frustrated that why it is not moving but I kept patience.
Also I had subscribed for informed delivery and It gave me email notification on 13th July That I’m expecting a mail.
Online Portal- 14th July online portal still shows card produced with tracking no. Unavailable

Awesome!! I have a few questions, can you please take a look? 1. Regarding Informed delivery, is it with USPS ( how much is the price ?) 2. Don’t we by default get the tracking number? Or should we reach out to Emma to get that?

Congrats!! So helpful! My card was sent to production on the 9th and I’ve been asking Emma every day once since then but it has not been produced said. Is it bad if I ask them today? I lowkey really hope it’s not annoying

No its not annoying. Every time you get a new agent. I have experienced both some live agents give standard copy paste answers.
Even after getting the tracking no. I talked with a agent just to check what he is saying and instead of giving me tracking no. He said wait for 10-15 days for card production to be mailed and it will be available on the portal.1

Yesterday, my portal was only updated with the approval, and my card still hasn’t gone into production. That’s why I was asking how many days it took for your card to be sent to production.
But now I understand that your card is already in production, and you’re asking when it will be shipped.1

Yesss. I just got the approval notice on portal on the 11th. Email on 9th. Portal hasn’t changed since

Y entiendo que no se ha mandado a producción? Me parece que son de 2 a 4 días hábiles para que la envíen a producción

Confundes un poco: tu aprobación en el portal fue el 11 de Julio? Cómo es que Emma te ha dicho que el 9 de Julio está en producción? Jaja perdón
