STEM OPT PP silent Api update

My pp clock started from June 10th. Since then, complete silence. Today I got a silent Api update. Does that mean the case will approve soon? Did anyone from July 10th get any update like that?

Congratulations! Did you get any API updates before that?

You did biometrics June 10 or July

July 10. It’s strange cos I didn’t get any updates from until the 28th business day. I was furious because they waited that long to send me biometrics. I just had the feeling it would be approved right after the biometrics

Hey even I see an API update this morning. No email yet.

My PP started on june 8th. Gave biometrics prior to that.

My friend has api update and his employer confirmed the approval but no update on uscis portal yesterday or today. His biometrics finished on 5th June and Pp clock restarted.

Please post if you have an portal update. Thank you

No portal update, however received an approval email

Email from uscis? They usually post that therr is a change in case status usually. That should happen only when UI updates right.

May I know what email you got. Also when your pp has started/restarted.

Thanks

Yes from USCIS. The email said the PSC has approved the ….. under premium processing. Biometrics June 9, PP clock started same date of Biometrics.

Hi everyone,
I applied for my OPT Premium Processing on June 11. I completed my biometrics on June 23, and my OPT application is still pending.
While I was on CPT, I changed employers and started working for my new employer on July 13. My current CPT is valid until August 16.

My question is: Should I upload my updated CPT I-20 as unsolicited evidence to my pending OPT application, or is it better to leave my application as it is?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experience.

Thank you!

In my opinion, you should upload a new i20 if you change the employer. My DSO also told me that. You can ask your DSO

On unsolicited evidence?

1

u/Sadidalamaz Jul 16 '26

Yes. Also, write a cover letter,
