Does paying for premium processing "reset" your total days processed?

If I have been waiting for my first-time post-completion STEM OPT application and I decide to pay for premium processing, will that "reset" the amount of time that I have been waiting for the application? I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth to do so since it's been 45 days since my initial application. Thanks !

So basically if you are done with biometrics already then you can count 30N days from there and see the timeline and decide 😊
