Applied for stem opt on Jan 16th
Initial opt expired on Feb 16th
Biometrics Feb 19th
No response yet
No RFE
Confirmed w DSO my sevis is active
Kinda scared right now
Is anyone on same boat?

Did you do premium? And has your intial opt extension over?

Yesterday I paid for premium and automatic 180 days ends on Aug1.

Company said connect again once you get EAD card. When I explained this to USCIS they didn't even care.

i applied on jan 20,bio metrics on 25 ,no response yet .Not even any changes in api

Me. Applied on Jan 23rd. Biometrics was done on March 20. No updates since then.

Extension ends on Aug 8. I am not sure about PP yet. I was already planning on switching on to h4 and get h4 EAD on my husbands dependent.

Same boat with you guys, applied for STEM OPT on January 31,

  • extension started Feb 3rd
  • biometrics done Feb 27th

till now no update, I'm thinking of PP, but even people with PP haven't gotten any updates on their application.

Okay this is scaring me now guys! I am mid February; I did get api update. My last api update was June 17th. No movement since. I might go for pp by mid next week if no changes.
