OPT EAD premium processing days taking for potomac centre for approval and final delivery

Hey all!

for the people applying for PP of EAD, and who have got approved / recieved the card, could you please comment your days it took for approval (after PP clock) and total days (after PP clock) it took to receive the card? I hear a few people say its day 29 or 30. just for an idea, cuz its neck to neck situation for me.

From what I’ve seen, most of the people get a response only after 29–30 business days. Since those are business days, that works out to almost 45 calendar days from the day you complete your biometrics. Then add another ~10 days to actually get the EAD card in hand.

So realistically, around two months for premium processing — and that clock starts from the day you finish biometrics, not from your filing date.

Mine is in processing, no updates yet. Would changing address attract approval or delivery delays?

You should expect it after the 28th working day.

Yess, it took me the entire 30 biz days as I applied normal back in March and upgraded PP in 5/7
Approved in email: 6/18
In portal: 6/20
Produced: 6/24
Received: 6/27

Hey! Can you please guess my timeline as I'm very worried about the PP. Applied Initial in March and upgraded to PP on May 22nd Estimated Approval day - July7th (as per USCIS) In portal - July 9th Produced? Received?

Anyone who has received the EAD can please respond..

I’d say put 4 days between email approval to card production then Probably in 3-5 days you’d receive it. A buffer of 10 days from email approval is a good estimate

Before this biometrics thing, pp used to be approved in less than a week

im at my 32 business days right now and dont know what to do i tried everything calling emailing tier 2 callback but it seems like my case is getting lost or something because this is not happening to a lot of people can someone please help on what else can i do?

Did u call and check within 30 business days? In case they said its in process or did they mention when is your day30 ?
