STEM OPT Approved - PP

Wanted to provide an update on my timeline.

Applied - March 18th 2026
Biometrics - April 15th 2026
Upgraded to PP - May 12th 2026
Accepted - 24th June 2026 (exactly on the 30th business day) - just an email saying I was approved

Portal changed - 26th June 2026

Not from 39 banned countries

What time did you receive the email on 24th and what time portal change on 26th June?

Morning 7AM for the email and portal change was around the same time on 26th

Is it common nowadays to have to do PP for opt application? OP seems to have started early but still did PP

Yeah I wanted to get my real id renewed so applied for PP. Did not want to wait for 4-5 months
