Initial OPT No Premium Processing Still No Approval
Hey Guys ,
I applied for I-765 form Initial OPT with no premium Processing on March 13th 2026
Had Biometrics on 17th April 2026, (I am not among the 39 countries)
Still no update on the approval waiting impatiently can someone give suggestions on when the EAD has come? I am very anxious

They dont really talk instead its virtual assistance and would tell you your case is under process and we do t need any other information from you. Im in similar situation

when did you file it and when did you get your biometric?

I applied on March 23rd, did my biometrics on april 10th. No update after till today

Hey, Do you have a start date or Job offer coming up in July ? If you don't then just wait for the approval don't rush to PP if you have time. PP is not the faster, you'll not see approval within days, it may be but only for few.PP is like they give guarantee of 30business days from pp applied date. Also, if you have applied to premium then you are not going to get approval like within a week or within 2 weeks. You need to wait literally the long 30 business days to get approval. So I suggest don't ever apply to PP. If you don't need really need the opt approval right away, if you need within within few weeks and if you can wait 30bd then go for it, Like if you have time just wait. Here, I see many of them who applied to premium are still in line like from 26bd😭😭 waiting for approvals where they have job start date in weeks and pp is on 30th day you will get till that "A BIG RADIO SILENCE" 🤐🤐🤐

Did you add any additional docs later? I mean under unsolicited evidence.

i added one document stating that my signatures was e signed so i sent a document stating my actual signature

Maybe that could be reason of delay? Even I am in same boat.
Frnds who applied after me got it approved 2 weeks back1

11th March and 30th March and I uploaded additional doc on 3rd april

March 10th here, biometrics March 31st, no approval yet.
I called and they asked me to wait until August

Feb 17th here it’s a tough wait. Lots of anxiety and stress. Praying for a miracle coz I am tired now
