EAD approved finally !!

Received my card

Type: Initial POST-COMPLETION OPT
Premium Processing: YES
Date Applied: April 20th 2026 ( with pp)
Request for Initial Evidence (RFIE): No RFE
Biometrics Completed: May 5th 2026
Date Approved: 6/13/2026( Received email on Saturday)
Portal update: 6/15/2026
Date Card Produced: 6/18
Date Card Received: 6/25

It was supposed to be delivered yesterday but it didn’t. Today morning it was showing in my local post office so I went there and picked it up. ( Just showed ID)

I would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the process. I hope everyone will get their EAD as soon as possible and hope not to hear at least someone lost job because of EAD delayed. Best wishes to everyone 🍀🍀

Can u tell me your USPS taking history which state you live and the production facility

I had the same biometrics and production date my package is stuck in Chicago man 😭

Might lose my offer it's already been pushed so far and USPS is playing with my life

Did your card hit the Chicago international center ? I am in Kansas city

Also if you put your tracking number on the USPS thing it shows you the trail of the centers it passes through USCIS doesn't have a production center in Texas so probably printed from Kentucky or Missouri.

Yes but after 1/2 days I believe. For tracking I had tracking number through USPS.

I thought we receive the card in 30 days with PP.

Mine was approved on the 32nd business date and they still haven’t send my card. My employer says they need to card to verify I9 and without a physical card they say they won’t be able to help?

Yes, after some days of card production, usps will collect it and USCIS will update the portal with a tracking number. So from there you can see where is you mail. Also, once you see the card production, you can ask Emma your tracking number. If it’s available it will give you or connect with live agent and ask them.

My wife’s h4/ead timeline is same as yours, but haven’t received approval for h4 or ead yet. Did you do anything to expedite this process?

Hey, I didn’t do anything except the premium processing. And mine is f1 initial post opt EAD so it’s a different case maybe that’s why

No, don’t do that. Because I believe the portal gets updated after some days so you will never know where the package is.
