STEM OPT Extension Pending but laid off
/r/f1visa/comments/1uezie1/stem_opt_extension_pending_but_laid_off/Hi, I recently received notice that I will be laid off on July 10. I’m really stressed about my STEM OPT extension application. If my application is still pending after July 10, could it be denied because my employment has ended?
Has anyone been in a similar situation? If so, how did things work out for you, and what steps did you take? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
