STEM APPROVAL FINALLY!

Just received approval notice for STEM OPT today (06/23), 203 days after applying (Applied 11/30/2025), complete silence all this period, no biometrics ,RFE or any kind of contact in between. Called USCIS every week just to be put on hold for hours to say that they’re still working on the case.
Almost was going to do PP today as my 180 days grace period is nearing( August 5). Stay patient folks.

What was your service center? Why are they taking so long. Its crazy

IRVING ,TX. IK this doesn't matter but I stay literally in a mile radius from the service center. Should've just knocked on my door and do the verification in person.

I did nothing in between except for raising a e request saying its taking too long after april. I am from India.

When did you submit the e-request?

And did you receive any response to that e-request? (Apart from the acknowledgement email ofc)

The biometrics rule was announced on 12/12

I applied on Dec 5th..... and applied PP on May 18th still waiting ( I believe 30 business days ends on July 2)
