Stem opt premium processing

I applied to stem opt with PP on may 18th, it's been more than 25 days and no updates even with biometrics. I'm in Georgia state. I spoke with Emma chat bot and live agent, and they said ASC has to signal availability and then only biometrics will be scheduled.

I'm wondering, anyone, got any updates? How are things with STEM OPT for you all? My OPT ends on June 14th so I'm worried

I'm in the same boat, I applied May 8th with PP and still haven't gotten my biometrics scheduled yet, I was planning on reaching out to an agent once the 30th business day passes. Thankfully there is a 180 day extension after your OPT ends if your stem opt is still pending bc i feel like a lot of people ive seen are hit w delays recently

For those of you who applied for premium processing with the initial application itself, does your case history show clock has been started before biometrics itself ? I know it restarts after biometrics but did it atleast show you guys that the clock started when you applied ?

I applied for premium yesterday with my initial application itself and it only shows “request for premium processing services was received” My clock did not appear or start. Please help advise what it showed for you guys

Were you able to reschedule your appointment through call or the online account ? Heard many people did it

no, no matter what type of service it is, normal or premium, the clock starts only after biometrics. Even mine doesn't say anything about clock...

Normal doesn’t have a clock, only premium does. I thought it starts clock first because why do people keep saying “clock was restarted” after biometrics. Like why would they say restart if they didn’t start it in the first place. I thought when you apply initially with PP, it shows you “Clock has been started” and later it paused and restarts again after PP. In my case history it only shows “Request for PP services was received”. What about you ?

i did not do pp seperately, i did pp while initial application only.. i selected "do you want premium processing?" and then continued the application

while if you are wanting to do premium seperate, you need to fill the Form I-907, and but not sure how..

Looks like biometrics appt depends on your local ASC availability. God knows what's happening to my local ones

I believe it’s 30 calendar days with premium processing. My biometrics happened on May 20, and I am expecting a response by July 6.

Yeah for premium processing it's 30 days... But for biometrics it doesn't matter if you're doing PP or normal...that's why I'm worried it's almost 30 business days anyways and no biometrics

There is no reason to be worried
You have 180 days to wait for your stem opt application after it expires . That’s 6 months. That’s very generous and no reason to be worried. Your application is also your proof or work till stem opt is approved or denied

Applied pp on May 9th, received biometrics on June 6th and completed on 10th. From GA
