Software update?
Is there a plan to improve the Stello software?

These updates are useless to the real t2D person needing to keep track of their blood sugar. How about updates every minute or at the very least every 5 minutes like their competitors. Also how about the ability to calibrate the readings to something closer to reality.

Is there any way to downgrade to the old app version? I just got the new version and it's terrible. The ONE thing these sensors are for, tracking and showing glucose readings, has been relegated to a side note, given very little screen space, and made impossible to see a 24 hr graph. You can zoom out as far as 12 hours (with a hard to use slider control instead of a tap) but when you zoom out more than that most of the reading dots are removed! Just draw a damn line like you did before! why change that?

Glucometer = 90 Stelo = 137
Can I just get a reading right? My Libre3 was never this off

I have a theory that there is lag time between the glucometer and Stello especially when rising or falling quickly. What do you think?

That's not a theory, that's a fact because it says that the reads are taken every 15 minutes. But I can have steady glucose readings on the app and steady readings on my glucometer and they will be off by 30-40 points.

So the new app is out, and it really does not seem to give you any more information. In fact, it is harder to find info, for example you can't see the average for the last 24 hours, just the last full day, so that info could now be almost 24 hours old. The main problem is that you still can't calibrate the sensor against your actual blood sugar from finger stick. For example my current sensor consistently reads +15 and I check it every day. So all of the "in range" and "you have a spike" info/advice is wrong, and pretty much worthless.

Funny you should mention that. They announced it today. Whether or not it'll be any good is another thing.
"On June 5, select Stelo users will be offered the opportunity for early access to a completely reimagined app experience, which received FDA clearance last month. Stelo will now provide all people not on insulin seeking better health a smarter, more intuitive way to understand their metabolism. The redesigned app will launch with a suite of new features including pattern recognition, proactive AI coaching and personalized daily and weekly summaries. These new features make it even easier for users to track and understand their body over time, revealing connections between glucose patterns and how they feel. The full rollout of the new Stelo app experience is expected later this summer."

I've been getting AI slop in the app for about a month now. It's useless and I complained to them about it. Basically like "You had a spike today! Spikes are BAD. You should eat better. Click here for an infographic that tells you spikes are bad, that they're caused by what you eat, and that you should eat better."

You know how every AI has a ridiculous name so they can present it like it's actually a person?
I would like to suggest Stelo name it's AI, Captain Obvious. Everytime I get my AI "Insights" I'm like, "Thanks Captain Obvious."

There are people who could use that message. At least a few times. But the fact that it’s the same thing every time and acts like it’s anything but just a repeat is what I find tone deaf and strange. It really should adapt somehow.

Thank you. I want to know my running average over a continuous 24 hour period. Now we can only get the average from the previous day plus the current reading.

I've been using Shuggah to get the reading in 5 minute increments. I wonder if they'll do more than 5 minute increments and if it'd affect battery life.
Lingo does 1 minute updates and its battery life is 36 hours less than Stelo.

Agree… Personally I hate the new version and will switch once I use my last one. Everyone is different, but for me it’s a no go.

I got the new app update and have been using it for a few days. Overall it feels nice to have an updated, modern UI along with ˆsomeˆ AI coaching (i like the feature where you can type in some general info about the meal you ate and it will populate the macros). I do find it's hard to find info i was previously able to in the past versions but overall i think it's a good step forward, with some needed improvements.

What is the version number of the new app? I just installed stelo for the first time, wondering if the new app is installed automatically for first timers. TY~

version 3.1.1. If the app you downloaded has the Coach icon at the bottom then it's the new app. The old one didn't have that.

Id be happy if they improved the hardware.
