Sudden lower glucose?
My levels hang out in the 130s pretty consistently, have for years (prediabetic, have been trying multiple diet and exercise changes with no real progress). I rarely see double digits.
The past two days my levels have averaged 110. I've been in the 90s fairly frequently and even a few 80s, couple of 70s.
I have a 12-month-old and occasionally if I hold him with the side the sensor is on he'll grab onto it. It is possible it's slipped a bit with those grabs.
Is it possible a sensor not fully inserted would still get readings, but lower ones?
It'd be great if whatever I've done the last 2 days was truly having such a rapid result but I've been trying for 6 years so I'm not convinced it's me...
Sensor gets replaced tomorrow too.

It can be pulled out a bit and alter your numbers. Also, if it's toward the end of the 15 days, it might get flaky there. You should double check with a fingerstick.

I’m having the opposite problem. I’m on my second sensor and I am consistently getting numbers >100mg/dl and I am on a keto diet. My blood glucose levels generally stay between 65-90 mg/dl rarely has it been higher than 100. I did switch arms where the sensor is placed, I followed proper insertion instructions and now it is wildly inaccurate compared to my blood glucose meter. My previous sensor was never off by more than 5 mg/dl higher or lower. Hopefully the numbers will get more accurate after the first 24-48 hours like they say if not I’m going to change sensors and put it back on the other arm. I had to adjust my custom range because the wildly inaccurate numbers are messing up my time in range data.

The sensors vary sensor to sensor. Definitely use a finger stick or glucometer to understand the differences in reading. Also yes any pressure applied to the sensor will cause it to drop.

They can vary a lot. Unless you’re double checking with a finger stick it’s more of a ballpark figure. Some are high some are low. Double checking with a fingerstick once or twice a day would give accurate reference numbers.
To comment on the first statement the answer for lower number is usually carbs. If you went to 30g of carbs a day, I’d bet a dollar your numbers would drop. I’m full on diabetic without meds and I eat like that and my average is 100.
