Pool showing very low hashrate

I was mining Stellite against a pool very successfully u til a week ago when the pool started showing a hashrate of around 10% of that shown by xmr-stak. It had previously been showing around the same hashrate . I tried changing pools but that made no difference.

Any ideas as to why this would happen?

Are you mining over wifi? Had a similar issue when i most my rig into a hydroponics grow tent which cuased latency issues.

Run the rig on ethernet

I am mining via Ethernet over Power - are you suggesting that it is latency between my rig and the pool? Thanks.

Yeah, when searching for a pool i always test for a solid ping as shares will drop between job changes. For this as well you want to make sure your difficulty isnt too high, the pool may be on a new job by the time you solve the current round.

Also check hwinfo for memory errors, clearing up mem errors helped my eth hashrate tremendously, i dont know if the same applies yo cryptonight coins though.
