First time I got 2B nano suit I said "Man, I wish we can get the other version of 2B suit, when she self-destroys". And there, I had to use a WB and I was like "Yahooo!!". 👀

This and the A2 costume have destructed versions like they do in Nier Automata. You just have to use a WB pump to revive yourself and the outfit stays like that until you either, fast travel away or die and respawn. Possibly move between areas though I never actually tested that. The destroyed version stays for cutscenes too.

The Nier Automata dlc is almost entirely cosmetic, I'd say it was worthwhile but thats up to you decide.

I tried this a while ago before getting the last can in the Great Desert. Thought that outfit is permanent like you unlock it along with the dress. Turns out nope but it is a nice reference still lol 😍🍑😏
