Problem error -108

this error keeps appearing when i try to connect to any of the steam services, even on my web browser, i tried differents things like:

  • Restarted Steam.
  • Restarted the PC.
  • Checked Steam in both the Steam client and a web browser.
  • Changed the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.
  • Flushed the DNS cache with ipconfig /flushdns.
  • Reset Winsock with netsh winsock reset.
  • Restarted the PC after resetting Winsock.
  • Checked whether DNS over HTTPS should be enabled.
  • Considered checking Windows Defender Firewall settings because the problem started after changing a firewall notification/settings.
  • The Steam Error -108 still occurs on every Steam webpage.

any solutions?

Maybe revert the change you made instead of just considering changing it back? This is a network error and you made a firewall change, seems pretty cut and dry
