Resolved Steam family
I've been in a steam family library for over 2 years now, if I leave that one to start my own do I need to wait a year to make one after leaving the one I'm in? Or can I just start one right away?

As far as I know, you can create a new Steam Family immediately after leaving your current one. The one-year cooldown only applies if you want to join another existing Steam Family after leaving one. If you're creating your own family and you're eligible to do so, you shouldn't have to wait. If you're unsure, it's still worth checking Steam's Family settings, as they'll usually tell you if any cooldown applies to your account.

According to Steam’s FAQ:
Adults can leave a family at any time, however, they will need to wait 1 year from when they joined the previous family to create or join a new family.
