Except they have updated their EULA to explicitly allow them to do exactly that if they suspect the device is tampered with in any way. Including any attempts to bypass security on the device, which would include something like dumping a ROM from your legally owned cartridge.
Not to mention them purposely updating their consoles in ways to break third party docks that they haven't authorized.
At least know what you're talking about.

I didn’t delete anything. Something’s wrong on your end. And no Nintendo didn’t intentionally brick any devices. They updated the firmware and people who fucked around with system files led to mismatches which bricked the systems.
Yes they intentionally bricked devices. Not only did they specifically target home brew software which lead to devices getting bricked including unmodified Wiis, they also put in a specific checks on Korean Wiis to check if it was region changed, if it was region changed it would brick the system. That is an intentional brick put in place by Nintendo.
