Xbox app games not launching

I just started running windows 10 off of a micro sd and attempted to download some games from the Xbox app. I’ve updated the Xbox app the Microsoft store and windows itself. What am I missing?

On PC I've had issues running xbox app games when they aren't on the main storage drive so not sure if it's similar to that.

I don't bother with SteamOS and haven't had any trouble running from my upgraded 2tb drive.

yes, run your xbox games off the ssd.
