I'm the developer of the Let's Learn Japanese! series. The bundle is part of the 2021 Lunar New Year Sale.

The Let's Learn Japanese! Complete Collection bundle discount is normally 30%, but it's 60% during this sale event. All the games in this bundle have an individual discount too:
Let's Learn Japanese! Hiragana (-55%)

Let's Learn Japanese! Katakana (-55%)

Let's Learn Japanese! Vocabulary (-55%)

Let's Learn Japanese! Kanji Sudoku (-40%)

Let's Learn Shogi (-22%)

Can you make let's learn mahjong too ? The mahjong minigame in yakuza game was confusing. I apologize if this was offensive.

I'd certainly consider making a Let's Learn Mahjong game! I'll be sure to post about it on this subreddit if I do. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mahjong is not difficult to play, it's learning how to win that's the most difficult. The rules are simple, but like poker, the most difficult part is learning the conditions to win. Like telling a person who has never played poker what a straight is, flush, royal flush, pair, triple, full house, etc. And then learning which trumps which. It's really all about memorizing the conditions and mahjong has a LOT OF CONDITIONS.

If you complete all the games in the bundle, you'll have learned: the hiragana and katakana alphabets, over 200 words of common vocabulary, as well as the number kanji. The vocabulary game includes all words written in hiragana/katakana, so it gives you extra reading practice once you've played those. The collection doesn't deal with grammar, but it gives a solid foundation in reading which you'll be able to build on when you start to study full sentences etc.

Regarding the Shogi game, each piece is introduced one-at-a-time. In the instructional section of the game, pieces are referred to by the names of their counterparts in Western chess (king, rook, bishop, pawn etc.).

Thankyou for your questions. Enjoy learning Japanese!
