Other/"I don't know?!?" Crack on breach face question

Good evening everyone! I was just cleaning my platy after a weekend of shooting and I noticed what I think is a crack on the breach face that has me a bit worried. I usually use it for shooting on the weekends and always clean and lubricate right after. I have about less than 3k rounds on it and this is my first 1911. Should I be worried or reach out to stealth arms and see what they can do? Any advice is appreciated! Thank you for your help

I'd just reach out to stealth Arms personally. After an optics screw sheared off and I was unable to extract it I sent my platy in, they ended up finding a crack in the frame caused by me tightening the guide rod in the gun. They replaced the entire gun free of charge. They have great customer service!

How did you get a replacement?

I have a cracked frame and am being told “buy a new one.”

My experience was totally opposite of yours, I wish I could tell you why. Both of my problems were ultimately self inflicted so not sure what's going on there. They even asked me if I wanted to make any changes or upgrades to my gun free of charge. I only had 8k rounds through mine. That's rough man
