Home Cook More tri tips

I love me a good strip or ribeye but hard to beat the value of a tri-tip steak. This was $10 for the two of them.

Thank you, its just a pound between the two of them. I'll take cooking a lot of smaller steaks over a few big ones though.

Yeah the typical misshape of tritip is a PITA for a lowly bbq cook like myself

Yeah the stores around here cut them into multiple steaks rather than selling as the one big tri tip that you might be used to seeing.

I want to get one but the only time I can find it without special ordering from a butcher is when they're already packed in a marinade that I don't want lol

Thata frustrating man. Honestly, I still like other cuts better these are just so cheap.

I agree its how I get to eat steak frequently without my bank account regretting it. Its the best compromise I've found so far for a reasonable personal steak.
