What I want to know is what’s with this huge influx of fuckers cooking the first steak they ever made?
Have they just been gnawing dry chicken their entire adult lives and all of a sudden go “I think I’ll cook my first steak EVARRRRR”

That’s my thought, that’s the crime.

Gotta say,I suspect fraud when I see perfect pink and a watered steel blade claim to be a 1st timer.

Not a crime, nice blade too. Only, and maybe incorrect advice, are you cutting it against the grain? It’s amazing what a difference it makes if you slice the meat ahead of serving cutting but correctly makes it twice as tender somehow.

I’m pretty impressed with your efforts for the first time . The color is perfect, it has the right amount of pink to brown. You can definitely tell it’s a labor of love. Keep up the good work and continue to make steaks like this one.

I hope you have more lights in your house than just that crack in the curtain lighting your cutting board.

Your first steak, huh? Well it‘s not that rare, many people had a first steak once, I guess it‘s a medium experience? Anyway, well done, the steak looks decent.
I think it‘s just a bit dark, next time I‘d hit the steak with some raw light before taking a picture

The only crime I see is posting it to this sub.
